  4. When should I consider an Auto-tie baler?
Most operators consider an auto-tie baler once their volume increase to more then 4 or 5 bales per shift. It depends on the cost of deducting an employee to respond to the baler ever time a bale is complete.

  5. What is the difference between a single-ram and a 2-ram baler?
A single ram baler typically uses an Extrusion chamber to apply pressure to the material being baled. A Two Ram baler has one cylinder that compacts into a fixed box and a second cylinder the ejects the bale at a right angle once the bale is complete.

  7. What should I consider when purchasing used equipment?
Age and condition are the two biggest factors. Also Make sure the unit in question is the correct unit for your application. Consider the source selling the unit as well. Many buyers have been duped by a shiny coat of paint.

  8. What is full penetration?
This is a longer then normal stroke into the bale chamber to maximize the compression of each lamination of material. Think about filling your trash can and then pushing the material down with your foot. This is a similar action.
